Where to Buy Stroopwafels

Stroopwafels are easier to find in America than they used to be, and harder to find fresh than most people realize. Almost every stroopwafel on a US shelf was made overseas and spent weeks or months in transit before it got there. Ours are baked in Fayetteville, Georgia, and shipped from the bakery.

Here are the three ways to get them.

1. Buy stroopwafels online, direct from the bakery

Ordering here is the freshest way to get them, and the only way to get the full line — classic caramel, chocolate dipped, protein, honey energy waffles, snippers and gift boxes. We pack and ship from the same building where they are baked.

  • Shipping: we ship across the United States.
  • Shelf life: 12 months, no refrigeration needed. They travel well and they keep.
  • Military and first responders: we run a standing discount — see the details here.

2. Find 3 Bros stroopwafels in stores

3Bros® stroopwafels are carried in retail across the country. If you would rather pick them up than wait for a box, start with Find Us, then ask your store to order them — most grocers, cafés and c-stores can, because we are already in the systems they buy from.

We work with these distributors:

  • Faire — for independent retailers and gift shops
  • PFG (Performance Food Group) Food Service
  • US Foods
  • UNFI Direct
  • Rainforest Distribution
  • McLane Direct
  • HT Hackney
  • HHR

If your preferred distributor is not on that list, or the 3Bros product you want is not in their system yet, tell us and we will work on it. Call 855 919 2122 or contact us. Buying for a shop, café or office? See our wholesale page.

3. Buy stroopwafels in Georgia

The bakery is in Fayetteville, Georgia, just south of Atlanta. We sold our first stroopwafels off a cart at a market in Peachtree City, and the Atlanta metro is still home base.

Fresh-baked vs. imported: what actually changes

A stroopwafel is a thin waffle cookie split in half with caramel spread between the layers. It is at its best when the waffle still has snap and the caramel is still soft. Both of those degrade with time and handling — which is the whole argument for buying one baked on this continent.

Questions people ask before ordering

Where can I buy stroopwafels?

Online direct from a bakery like ours, in the cookie or snack aisle of a growing number of US grocers, in cafés that serve them alongside coffee, and from importers who ship European brands. If freshness matters to you, buy from whoever baked them most recently.

How long do stroopwafels last?

Ours keep for 12 months and do not need refrigeration. Store them sealed at room temperature.

What is the best way to eat one?

Set it on top of a mug of hot coffee or tea for a minute or two. The steam softens the caramel. That is the traditional way and it is genuinely better. More on what a stroopwafel is.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship across the United States from our bakery in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Can I buy stroopwafels in bulk?

Yes. Cases, food service and corporate gifting run through our wholesale page. If you want them under your own brand, that is private label.

Do you cater events?

We do — including the cart. See catering.
