Being Dutch, but having lived in the US for close to 30 years, I have been schlepping quite some stroopwafels with me in my suitcase back to DC. I thought this ordeal was over when certain stroopwafels started to show up in grocery stores and well-known coffee shops, but was soon very disappointed in how dry and tasteless these turned out to be. When, on a recent trip to the Netherlands my suitcase was too full to add stroopwafels I searched the internet to see whether I could order real Dutch stroopwafel and have them shipped to me in the US. During this search I stumbled on the 3bros stroopwafels, liked their story, and ordered them, not holding my breath, but hoping they would be decent. Imagine my very pleasant surprise when they turned out to be DELICIOUS, and the BEST stroopwafels I have ever had! My husband and son also rank these stroopwafels as the best they have ever tasted. We are purists when it comes to stroopwafels in that and we will only have the ‘original’ caramel stroopwafels, but since these originals taste so very good, we might venture out to the other versions as well. For the 3bros family: Heel erg lekkere stroopwafels, beter dan de beste van de markt or zelfs de banketbakker!

Fresh and delicious! Never had anything like it. My mug was a little too big so I used my small tea pot and it was perfect to get the caramel soft. Yum! Nice little tin, also. I’ll reuse that for sure.

Got to watch these stroopwafels being made and then eat them fresh at a local farmers market. They. Were. Amazing! My husband’s family is Dutch and has brought us stroopwafels from the Netherlands. These were better. So excited for our kids to get to experience a “taste” of their heritage. Thank you 3Bros!

I come from a Dutch family and have grown up eating stroopwafels. These are some of the best stroopwafels I’ve ever had! They are just like the fresh ones you get on the street in the Netherlands!!! I will definitely continue to order them. Would love to see if you can make some pepernoten in December ;)

At 3Bros we are passionate about stroopwafels. Years ago, we became frustrated with the stale imported ones and decided to bake our own to share the best stroopwafel experience with our fellow Americans.
We started in our kitchen, but we now operate our own bakery near Atlanta, Georgia.
