Made Fresh in America

A Taste of Amsterdam — Stroopwafels Made in America

Most Stroopwafels in America Aren’t the Real Thing

If you’ve tried a stroopwafel in the U.S. and felt underwhelmed, you're not alone. Most Americans only know imported stroopwafels—mass-produced overseas and shipped months before landing on a shelf near you. That’s a far cry from the fresh, chewy, gooey experience you'd get at a street market in Amsterdam.

At 3Bros Cookies, we believe you deserve better.

Fresh, Local, and Truly Delicious — Made in the USA

We bake our stroopwafels in Fayetteville, Georgia, with the goal of delivering true Dutch flavor that’s made in America and delivered fresh. Our cookies aren’t sitting in a shipping container for weeks—they're baked fresh and shipped fast.

Want a real Netherlands-style stroopwafel with local freshness? We’ve got you covered.

Take a Look Inside Our Bakery

This is where every 3Bros stroopwafel is made — the dough, the stroop and the baking line, all under one roof in Fayetteville, Georgia.

What Is a Stroopwafel?

“Stroop” is Dutch for “syrup”, but not the pancake kind. This syrup is made from treacle—a dark, rich molasses derived from sugar beets—mixed with cinnamon and other warming spices. It’s sandwiched between two thin, crisp waffle cookies for the ultimate treat.

Fun fact: The word “treacle” was originally used in Europe to describe herbal remedies and antidotes. So yes, stroopwafels might be the cure for your sweet cravings!

Why We Feature Windmills on the 3Bros Logo

When people think of the Netherlands, also known as Holland, iconic windmills come to mind. These historic machines were used to reclaim farmland from the sea, symbolizing resilience, innovation, and harmony with nature.

We chose the windmill as part of our logo to honor our Dutch heritage—and to reflect the values we hope to pass on to our family and community: self-sufficiency, perseverance, and unity.

In fact, 3Bros Cookies began as a family project, created to bring together three sons from different backgrounds. What started as a bonding activity soon turned into a beloved local cookie brand, thanks to the delicious aroma of fresh-baked stroopwafels catching the attention of our multicultural neighborhood.
