One was large, round and sticky; the second was crisp and precise on the outside; and the third was fresh and enticing.   • Being Dutch, but having lived in the US for close to 30 years, I have been schlepping quite some stroopwafels with me in my suitcase back to DC. I thought this ordeal was over when certain stroopwafels started to show up in grocery stores and well-known coffee shops, but was soon very disappointed in how dry and tasteless these turned out to be.
